1. Change of NRIC address
   As we are both outstation (not originally from KL/Selangor), we both need to change our address in our NRIC to local address in order to submit our application locally, else we'll have to respectively submit at our state of origin... hence, our 1st step is to change our NRIC address
   upon our arrival at JPN, there's merely any crowd and we were attended upon 10 minutes of Q'ing. Next we proceed to take photograph (for NRIC) and were given a temporary NRIC to proceed for our ROM registration and submission. Our original NRIC can be collected in 2 weeks time.

2. ROM Submission
   At the same time and place, we fill in submission form and make submission for rom (validity: 6mths fr. date of approval) with attachments as follows:-
   - NRIC copy (front and back) each
   - Passport size photo each
   **Note: NRIC for both party shall be in Selangor address
   Then, upon settlement on NRIC issue, we proceed to submit for our ROM registration using our temporary NRIC. Our form was submitted and will be displayed for 21 days. Meanwhile, we made arrangement with the officer in charge on our outdoor officer arrangement. They are very friendly and we were happy with the arrangement so far.

3. COLLECTION OF DOCUMENTATION - after 21 days
   Either party to go and collect the approved documentation and proceed to submit for outdoor registration. Before doing so, proceed to the commissioner of oath for "sumpah". At the same time, we are gonna collect our new NRIC.
   We'd made another trip to JPN and had collected our NRIC after 3 weeks. At the same time we went to check on the status of our ROM submission and to our joy, it's approved. So now all we have to do is wait til 10.09.2009 to do submission for outdoor registration as the outdoor approval is valid for 1months only.

4. OUTDOOR ROM Submission
   Fill in form and make submission latest by mid September (validity: 1month)
   Submission of outdoor ROM form and appointment with appointed officer for arrangement for outdoor ROM. Bring along witness NRIC copy (front and back) each.
   due to my hectic schedule, alex am gonna do the oath and submission for outdoor r.o.m at JPN office. approval takes approximately 1-2 week, and due to Raya season coming up next week, we anticipate our approval to be early Oct 09. Our submission's finally approved and am pending for JPN officer to take up the offer.

Due to full submission on August 2009 and no outdoor ROM for September 2009, due to Puasa month, our ROM has been fixed on 10.10.2009 instead tentatively. It's an easier date to remember for our anniversary :P Confirmation of the date will need to be confirmed again by the officer in charge based on his/her availability.

Now that everything is confirmed, we are anticipating the R.O.M date!
