posted under , , by -me-
It's 20th Apr today, I'm so anxious for the gown fitting tomorrow, but I dont feel good today, like am almost sick. Muz be the weather and the lacks of fluid~~ Sigh~~ I gotta gambate, sleep earlier tonight and be prepared for tomorrow's ^^ My personnal checklist now beeping, and my to bring things include, my camera, my PS shoes, my BS receipt, my corset and so on... and I gotta pick my PS MUA and PG... I wish I can get Jim, cuz after viewing his work thru his blog, I'm in love with his work of art, but Jim's in SS2, mine is in Loke Yew :''(
.
the following day....
OMG~~~ I'm really sick. Down with flu & cold, sore throat, dizzy all day long, sigh, appointment need to be cancelled :( I felt so dissappointed with myself, cuz I'd been waiting for so long for my gown fitting session, but yet, I'm sick :( Maybe as Joey said, it's better this way, I can have more time to slim down before I tried on the gown :D

Indeed, I was slimmer due to the flu and most gown look goods on me :D Picking the gown took quite some time and in fact, it's very tiring work, LOL. Pui Pui and Jane help select few gown for me to try on and myself hand picked a few too. If picking and selecting the gown is tiring, then fitting is not easy too ^^

Jane helps me with gown fitting. I was so embarassed when she ask me to take off my brasserie and I asked her twice to re-confirm whether it is really necessary for me to take it off~~ Well, now I'm almost nude except my underwear (blush~~)

We start with wedding gown from SVIP series, the first one I tried looks nice on me and I kind of a like it. Jane said as this is the first gown I tried on, I may not need to make desicion as I want it or not yet, as I try more, there's space for comparison then only I decide on which i want. So, the first WG's KIV. Second piece .......................

Summary, my now KIV'ed WG include, first gown, third gown (satin w tail), forth gown (black/white), fifth gown (designer). from these 4 pieces of KIV'ed gown, I'd to select 3 out of them. Before I do so, we proceed to EG fitting.

For EG, the first EG I'd tried on is a light apple green fairy like gown, as both me and Alex do not like candy colours, we both immidiately dismissed the green, LOL, second gown (pink princess cutting with lots of flowerry detail), third gown (deep V cut, high colarred vietnamese style), forth gown (dark purple, mermaid like gown), fifth gown (red flowing roman like), sixth gown (designer series), last piece is a collection series (more upper class than designer, almost same as crystal gown series). It is a white cheong sam with vibrant colors of embroidery. I like this gown very much. So, it's also KIV'ed.

Summary, I'd KIV'ed the second gown (pink, princess cut), third gown (deep V cut, vitnamese collar), forth gown (purple mermaid style), fifth gown (red roman), sixth gown (designer series) and the seventh gown (collection series). Out of these six gown, I'd to pick 3 out of them.

Hmm... now's the hardest part, having changed back to my own clothes, we were sitting down to discuss on the type of gown to pick. It's such a headache as all gown looks so pretty. We then proceed to the ground floor (the reception area) for another round of selection. I'd tried on each gown that I'd KIV'ed earlier and from there, I pick out 3 of each WG and EG that I really like.

For WG, I'd selected the first gown, I like it at first sight too :D, it's material is so soft and almost like chiffon. I dun normally fit on well in such material, but this gown really do look good on me :D. Then I'd also picked the forth gown (black/white) and the fifth gown (designer series). Thus, I'd dropped the satin long tail gown. I really like the testure and the design of the gown, but since I'd picked the designer series, which is a long tail gown also, so I'd no choice but to drop it :(

For EG, I'd selected the third gown (blue, vietnamese style), fifth gown (red roman) and the seventh gown (white, designer series). For second gown (pink princes cut, I'd dismissed it due to the same cutting with the third gown, I dont wanna have 2 gown that's similiar. Th forth gown's never to my liking, so it's immidiately dismissed by me (although Alex like it :P). The sixth gown looks good, I had a hard time to decide whether I want to have it or not... as I gotta add RM400 to have the designer gown, I'd dropped it as I do not think it's worth the $$$ :P as I do not think that it look superbly pretty on me... LOL

Since I'd selected the gown, now it's time to decide if we want the tradisional gown (TG). In our package there's 2 TG for us to choose. Pui Pui show us photography of a selection of TG and theme available.. there's many choice though.. "Kua", "Ka Kak", "Guai fei", Japanese, Korean, Malay, Indian, Angel, Cowboy, Romanese, Germain, and so on and so on... We saw few that we like thus we'd decided to remain our TG instead of replacing it with WG or EG. We like the "Guai Fei", Indian, Germain and Romanese style and will select 2 out of these few.

For gown selection only, we'd made a top up of RM1400.00 for 1 designer series and 1 collection series gown. The most expensive one is the collection gown, top up of RM1200 for 1 single gown. The designer gown is top up RM800. Pui Pui gave us a discount of RM600 on that, but I still feel expensive. But Alex said it's OK cuz the collection gown looks very good on me. I hope it's worth the $$$ though.

After all decision on gown is made and payment made, Pui Pui explain to us the thing that we can and cannot bring during the photoshot. Pui Pui suggest that we get our hair cut/dye, facial, nail and so on. Alex could start preparing for his shirt and coat and shoes for the PS too. The photoshooting date is firmed and now, all we do is wait for the PS date :D

All and all, my first experience in LV is considered enjoyable. Both SA are friendly and gave lots of professional ideas. I was so worried before I went gown testing as I read fr. some forum that some btb had a nightmarish experience.

Pui Pui reminded me that I will have to be there earlier during PS for gown testing and shall the fitting don't fit, alteration will be made again during my make-up session. They are gonna make it in 1.5hr time. Thank god~ for not asking me to go back for trying again and for the timely arrangement. Pui Pui take down my measurement and ask that I be rest assured thing's gonna be alright.
