(♥) Our MTM Gown/Tux

posted under , by -me-
For my wedding dinner, I'd MTM 1 gown with long train for my 1st march in. I'd like this design very much, thus decided to mtm my own gown, specially for my wedding banquet. Here's a preview of my gown in progress (photo courtesy of Erin) at the manufacturing factory... Though not yet complete, I'm so eager to collect it now :P

Design extracted from magazine

The actual gown's finally ready for my collection :) It's collected and hence hanged carefully in my wardrobe. There's few places for alteration to be made and I shall sent it for alteration somewhere in Sept'09.
.
Some diffrences of the original design vs. the made to measure

  1. the train's longer compared to the original design. my mtm gown train's 100cm in length in total
  2. the black flower is hand embroidered to my mtm gown compared to the original design which use lace (cut & paste)
  3. the front brooch's of the original design are replaced with bow and 2 little flower in black
  4. instead of zipper, my mtn gown's made to tie-back ribbon to better fit my body.
I'd planned to DIY some swarovski crystal onto the train (embroidery part) to make it more bling than current. Am considering whether to use black or white crystal with it.
