For our engagement announcement, we did nothing fancy about it. Just a normal dinner with both family respectively for announcement of our wedding and for picking an auspicious date for the actual ceremony. Both family are happy for us and we are glad to receive their kind blessing towards the reunion :D
We'd been together for quite some time, in fact, it has been a long time to both our family, probably this news come as nothing too surprising to them as they are expecting our wedding much earlier than we are ready to announce :P

As for announcement to our dear friends and colleague, we manage to did it separately thru our daily routine, like during yam cha, gathering, at work lunch and so on...
